Installation procedure

1) Unzip the “SYS_OS.ZOX” file and save it in a new blank floppy disk (1.44 MS DOS formatted)
2) WARNING! The update procedure will erase all RAM data. Please save all data stored in the internal memory of Genesys Pro
3) Insert the new operating system floppy in the Genesys Pro f.driver
4) Switch off the instrument
5) Turn on the instrument while simultaneously pressing the POWER switch and rotating the DIAL
6) The dislay will show the SYSTEM SET UP screen
7) Select “INSTALL NEW SYSTEM FROM:” using the cursor button
8) Using the Dial, select the Floppy Driver as installation source – press ENTER to confirm
9) After the confirm message, press ENTER to start the upgrade.
NOTE: to check the software release version installed in your instrument press the SYSTEM button, then press F7 BATTERY&RELEASE.

Istruzioni per l’aggiornamento

1) Scompattare il file “SYS_OS.ZOX”e salvarlo su un floppy disk
2) Salvare eventuali dati personali importanti presenti su Genesys Pro
3) Inserire nel drive di Genesys Pro il floppy disk contenente la upgrade patch
4) Disattivare Genesys Pro
5) Attivare nuovamente lo strumento ruotando contemporaneamente il DIAL
6) Il display visualizzerà il menu SYSTEM SET UP
7) Premendo il tasto Cursore, selezionare la funzione “INSTALL NEW SYSTEM FROM:”
8) Agendo sul Dial, selezionare il Floppy Drive come driver d’installazione – Premere ENTER per confermare
9) Dopo l’apparizione del messaggio di conferma, premere di nuovo ENTER per avviare l’aggiornamento. Al termine dell’operazione, Genesys Pro si imposterà automaticamente sulla schermata principale.
NOTA: Per controllare la data di release del software attivo su Genesys Pro, premere il tasto SYSTEM e selezionare “BATTERY&RELEASE” con il tasto F7.
